Fun Facts and Hobbies

• Dr. Marisa Mizus enjoys reading, spending time with her three children, traveling, playing tennis, skiing, attending concerts and theater, and visiting art museums.

• Her father was an inventor, and both of her parents were physicians. She is a self-described space enthusiast who attended space camp, lived in London and studied art curating prior to college, minored in poetry, and was born in Baltimore and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland.
